Lazy days

So I've been really lazy with this blog D:!!

I haven't done what I said I would do gah *__*

I think the main reason behind this is because, not only have I been purely lazy (and suffering from boredom), I've returned to the artsies - yup, I'm back to drawing and cg-ing again, and I've returned to Gaia Online D:!

Not only that, In less than a week, I head off to Hong Kong and then Mainland China (Guangdong) for a 1 month trip!

I'll try to get my hands on a computer over there so I can post about the goodies I buy (:

The cold

Caught a cold and fever. Will try to upload reviews once I've recovered.

A few days ago though, I tried the VOV lipstick in 104 with my Yves Saint Laurent lip palette and Lancome juicy wear gloss - it looks like the VOV lipstick isn't that useless afterall. With blending it can look decent (on me) and take on an appearance similar to that of the advertised image. I just wished I had a better camera to take a photo of the effect I had created - my digicam can't captured a high quality, detailed photograph!

Gmarket buys #3

Alright, time to post about the mini gmarket make up haul. Firstly, in this batch I bought for myself the VOV showcase ball-on-cheek blush and two Girl Lips lipstick in colours 104. Berry Cherry and 102. Oz Rose. And I also got the Etude House Lip tint and tear drop liner for my friend. First, my friend's things out of the way...

Showcase~

The packaging is really cute and the blush has a nice sweet scent to it, though some people may not like it.

And I must note - photos really do make a (smaller) product look bigger! I was surprised by how small they were in real life!

The VOV lipstick in colour 104 really disappoints me though. The colour on the lips looks almost nothing like the image they showed for it (check previous, previous blog post). But what was I kidding lol? After contemplating, I think in order to achieve that effect, you don't just slab the lisptick on, but you have to blend it with a lighter colour on the outside. I'll experiment with it later and see how it goes.

This is just a showcase of my buys so I'll post up proper reviews for these products soon (and I still need to post a proper review for the bb cream and Tony Moly lip tint...)

It came!

Alright, my gmarket order came.

I just gotta say - I'm a little disappointed with the VOV lipsticks I received. Especially with colour 104 (see previous blog post).

I'll do a review of it tomorrow since I just came back from a day full of walking and (window) shopping and I need my rest lol.

Waiting game #2

Alright~ I ordered from gmarket two days ago and I think the package will definitely come next week.

I ordered two VOV lipsticks in the colors 104 and 102. BUT I want the whole collection! The VOV Showcase Girl Lips isn't really new, but they did release three new colours recently. I was tossing over to get 102 or 601 or the new 602!!! Plus I wanted the Showcase lipgloss that came in a set of three (but I didn't end up getting it!). When I get these items and they fulfil my expectations, I'll probably get the other colours I've been eyeing as well. I also need lip concealer and eye concealer as well! So pretttttyyyy!!!

I think I ordered the VOV Showcase Ball-on-Cheek blusher as well in colour #3. I cannot read Korean and I don't know what colour #3 looks like. I initially thought that since the drop down menu for the blusher was just on the Bebe Pink colour on default, but I think I am most likely wrong. So, I probably ordered some other colour/item!!! Whoops haha. Well fingers crossed that whatever I ordered is something nice and cute anyway!

I also ordered the Etude House Lip Tint in colour #1 and the Tear Drop (Eye) Liner for my friend. And after seeing a review of the lip tint over here I wish I had bought some for myself as well because it looks really pretty - in fact better and easier to apply than the Tony Moly Lip Tint!!! And that reminds me, I should get around to posting a proper review of the TM lip tint and the Dr Jart BB cream soon...

But anyway, gotta try to get to studying. After this upcoming Wednesday, I'll be free from exams and high school so I should have some time to blog some more.

Facemask review #1

Since I haven't been posting anything because of exams (I really should be studying though...) and I have a break before my next two (last) exams, I thought I might as well do a new post.

A review of sorts of the Tony Moly Pomegranate Face Mask Sheet Pack from the previous batch.

So I don't usually use face masks but I wanted to make use of these since it would be a waste if I didn't. I put it on for 15~20 minutes and here is what I felt from using it:

♥ It was cooling (which was nice since yesterday was boiling! At a november high of almost 40 degrees celcius!)

♥ It had a sweet smell, sort of fruity - probably like a pomegranate fruit, but then again I've never actually tasted or smelt a pomegranate in real life! (Though after a while, it smelt a bit weird.... Maybe it was because I sneezed twice? Eww, I know ahahaha!)

♥ My face felt tighter and moisturised when it was on my face. Well duh, I should say, it is a face mask after all. The area of the face mask above my upper lip was sucked dry because that area of my skin is the driest and it absorbed all the moisture on the sheet haha!

♥ Face looked somewhat a bit brighter, moisturised, less dry.

♥ The face mask sheet itself was soaked with moisture so it didn't dry up at all in the process (except for the part above my upper lip lol! I wonder why that area of my skin is so dry u_u)

Will I use it again? Yes. I might actually buy a bunch in the future and see the effects on the long term. I haven't actually used it long enough to consider how effective it is, so I guess theres more work for me to do in the future.

In other news, I don't know if I should continuially waste my money when I know how poor I am, but I think I will actually get the VOV lipsticks I've been eyeing for a while.

Exam time

Well, the exams are upon us (me)!

I will be taking a 2 week break from blogging and most things internet related to ensure I get a satisfactory mark for these exams as they determine my further education!

I'll try to get a better review and before & after pictures of the Dr Jart Silver Label BB Cream, Tony Moly BB Cream and Tony Moly Lip Tint when I can though. Plus the white satin opera length gloves I bought on Ebay recently too, once they arrive~

Gmarket buys #2

I've been waiting for the package all day and it finally arrived~
I don't actually use make up, but I figured that I would need to practice since I'm planning to do my own for the formal. Plus, BB cream is a must! And I've always wanted to try it.

^ Being the monster I am, I ripped it all open once I got my hands on it ;D

My buys seems sorta random xD

^The Tony Moly mini/sampler with the BB cream and sample size lip tints (I actually bought another mini sampler lip tint :/) I haven't tried the BB cream yet, but will do soon. (I should probably post a photo of a before/after of the lip tint).

Was surprised when I tried it on as I wasn't use to the texture. Once I put it on, my lips sorta absorbed it and it seemed like the colour was also absorbed to the middle/inner part of the lip! Downside to this is that it comes off easily (OR I may have put too much on or my lips didn't absorb it all yet)! I was eyeing this for a while and found the tint from the Goo Hye Sun/Geum Jandi make up tutorial and thought it was cute so I wanted to try it. I may consider buying the normal sized one once I use my samplers up. However, I'm not sure if this colour (I tried #1 which is cherry pink, I think) suits me. I think I'm more suited to a nude or pinkish lip colour - and I may instead, try out a nude colour lipstick from Etude House or Peripera or VOV, next time!

^ Dr Jart Silver Label BB Cream which came with a free and pretty big tube of "Elva White Foam Cleanser".

This was the first thing I tested out. My camera batteries died so I can't post the before/after of it yet. Will try to get that up soon.

I actually bought this for my mum because she complained about the powder foundation she used.

Well, theres not much for me to say about this one. I don't really know much about BB Creams and I tried my luck at this one for my first BB cream purchase, due to the relatively good feedback it gets.

When I put it on my face and when the cream was absorbed by my skin, it didn't feel heavy at all, so that was great! Plus, it made my skin whiter, clearer and made my blackheads and pores relatively less visible. (I don't have bad skin to start with so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes). BUT, when I looked closely, for some reason a few areas seemed flaky - I wasn't sure whether it was my skin (my skin = sometimes dry, oily t-zone, tiny pimples prone to the forehead)or the BB cream that was causing it.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this product. When my mother tried it on, there was a visible difference in the appearance - she tried it on one half of her face and it looked whiter, less wrinkly and her pores weren't as visible.

We'll keep using this BB cream and see how it goes in a few weeks. I will be purchasing some more (the same Dr Jart brand and most likely will try other brands too - probably Hanskin or Skinfood) if my mother and I feel satisfied of it's effects (:

^ Yay freebies ♥ Came with my Tony Moly order~

Ahhh~ I'm disappointed because I didn't buy much! Figures since I'm a poor high school student. Maybe once I get a part time job I'll be able to waste more money (hey! thats not a good thing haha!). No, but all in all, this was a relatively okay haul. Nothing beats buying the actual products in store and trying before buying though! A pity we can't get these products for the same (cheaper) price here in Australia! Maybe when I go to Korea on vacation one day lol! (I hope I'll be able to find some nice cosmetics and clothing in Hong Kong though~)

Alright, since I have this out of the way, I have to concentrate on studying!

Waiting game #1

Alrighty~ So yesterday I went to look at formal dresses. I tried on quite a few, most looked 'bleh' on me. I cringed everytime I tried on a dress that didn't flatter my body - my upper body is bigger than my lower half/legs so that didn't really give a pleasing sight. I must remind myself to lose some arm flabs - it really doesn't look good.

The first dress - which was between knee to mid-thigh length, creamy and strapless was the one that looked best on me. Price was around $70. Sweet and cheap. Going back there today-ish to buy it (:

When I returned home and searched around the net, looking at pretty dresses (window shopping yay!) again, I realised that the dresses look super awesome and pretty because they were being displayed on super skinny models. I want the dress, but can I pull it off? Naw, prolly not lol. Oh well. *shakes fist at the skinny models*

Okay, the rest of my post will probably be pretty incoherent since this is being written as stream-of-conciousness haha.

Its also confirmed that I'm going China in December - and the morning right after my formal too! We booked the tickets yesterday (rushing from the mall to cabra, where my relatives were booking the tickets). It was all-over the place. Mum couldn't find parking, we were told we had to provide passport photos for the visa forms and had to go take them... Well at least they were better then the chatty-ass photos that I took at the plaza - the man actually took several photos and the lighting was heaps better.

Well yeah. That was yesterday.

Anyhow, I checked gmarket this morning and it looks like the order is being shipped out and I should get it sometime next week~

Haha, the shipping was such a big miscalculation though. Oh well, no worries because the difference in money is deposited back into the account!

Estimated weight was 4.90 kg ----- > Real weight was 0.88 kg - not even 1 kg lol!

Frack. Must get back to studying. 10-ish days before the big exams which shall determine my future!

Gmarket top blogger~

Oh gosh! I've become a gmarket top blogger, very interesting! My bro just told me this morning that he got a 50,000 won coupon in his inbox, accompanied with a "kekekek I'm gonna use it". I had a sneaking suspicion it was for me =P Mine, mine, mine!! Fine, I'll see what I can do with it, maybe we can go half-half somehow?

Ahahah, you know what? Its a pity it came after I just ordered from gmarket yesterday lol!

But anyhow, a BIG THANK YOU to gmarket

Check out the other top blogs! They're awesome and it's great to see people from around the world using gmarket.
♥ gmarket. Theres so many awesome things on it. Plus I think it's great on gmarket's behalf for giving prizes, vouchers and coupons away, especially to their customers in general and thsoe that blog about their products and review their buys.

It's been a while!

The past two weeks for me have been very hectic. And I've graduated high school!

However, there are still the exams to go, so I must study.

Besides forgetting to wake up this morning to bid on a pair of lovely vintage opera gloves (Audrey Hepburn style!) on ebay and going into a state of depression and rage (I'm exagerating)
for a few minutes...

Heres the roundup for the past week or two: we messed/bludge at school alot, water gun fun, Carnivale (fun, fun!), graduation, (free) dinner with senior SRC and school executives after grad, year 12 concert and the picnic day on Friday, and a stupid lil 'after' picnic get-together haha! For the picnic day, we went to the beach, took heaps of photos and messed around, which was heaps of fun (photos uploaded on FB :3).

How do I feel about graduating? Happy and sad at the same time. Happy for obvious reasons and sad because I'll miss those good ol high school days of hanging with my friends at lunch, then theres the classes, teachers and the library ):

Those days are in my past now and I can only head forward. I wonder whats in store for me.

On a happier (or wallet-related) note, I finally ordered off gmarket. I contemplated getting a blusher, but I'll go to the shops for that. I ordered Dr Jart Silver Label BB Cream, Tony Moly samplers, eyelash curler and brown-coloured eye liner.

So I guess I'll be waiting for that to come in the mail! Argh. Shipping is expensive. This leaves a huge chunk in my already empty wallet! (I owe my bro money :/ Must get job after exams!). Hmmm, then I also need to shelve out money for my formal dress, shoes, clutch, accesories and gloves (yes! I want to be unique on that night!). I shall commence looking for my dress either during these holidays if I can spare time (of course I can :P) from studying or after the exams.

Waiting for my package~

The loss of an innocent - a tribute

Yesterday a tragedy happened in the form of [two] deaths - one of whom was a fellow classmate and a dear friend to many. These youths perished right before graduation - and with a bright future ahead. They were gone before their time in a most horrendous car accident and today we went to pay our respects bearing flowers, at the scene of the accident.

We took the bus and walked - the road still smudged with what seemed like shrouded blood and sand-like stains in the concrete. There were already many fellow mourners on the side of the road. I remember sitting quietly, staring at the mountain of flowers, bouquets lined around. There was a soft breeze, the sound drowned by the cars zooming past, with occasionally honking of recognition and silent gesture of the cross for respect (though there were some insanely rude people, one baboonish idiot who actually had the nerve to stick his rude finger out). A girl wailed in sadness and sobs as her friend comforted her and many were trying to stay strong, one, in his feign, eventually broke down on the ground and sobbed.

I sat silent, occasionally holding my hands together to pray. I did not feel the same excruciating pain as those that were close to these boys. But this was the least we could do, he was, after all, our dear classmate and was a little bundle of talent - with a bright future - but taken from him. After this loss: school - art class, will not the same. Our fellow classmates will not be the same.

Was it irresponsible driving? Most likely. Our friend was the passenger. It is disrespectful to pin the blame on another that also perished - but perhaps if the driver (whom I did not know, but was a friend of the one I did know) had taken more caution and obeyed the rules, there would be no need to see such anguished, saddened and depressed faces. But a death, is nonetheless a death, and these youths did not deserve such a demise.

Friends, learn from this - cherish your time with those you love and drive safely.

Rest in Peace.

An unexpected call

AFS unexpectedly called me 10 minutes ago - I almost had a heart attack. Oh gosh. My heart is beating so fast!

They conducted, what I assumed was a phone interview for the scholarship I applied for.

From my hazy memory, it wasn't a long interview and I can only remember two questions they asked: 1) What would I do if I wanted to tell my host family something, but I couldn't because they can't speak English, and 2) Why do I want to go to Japan?

Pretty simple questions, but I was put on the spot and caught off guard. I hesitated and with silliness, forgot the first question and had to ask for them to repeat it.

I wish wish wish I had thought more about my answer before I actually said it. For the first question I chucked in something about acting out, drawing it out - but did it ever occur to me I could have said I could use a dictionary or google translator lol! And for the second question, I wish I added something about my future pursuits. Dammit. I did alright, but nto too good for the impromptu interview.

Guess I'll have to rely on my application to get me through.

Please, let it be this

Or the 4 week scholarship they offered me to apply for.

I will sit quetly, and hope that I did well enough, while my heart palpitates wildly to this unexpected phone call that would decide my fate for next year~

Okay~ Lets calm down girl! I'll be happy for any results~ Gap year or uni, I'll be satisfied with both, I guess. On a happier note, I officially have no more school assignments now (as I handed in that essay today!) yay

Daily life #1

Another uneventful day of bludge, bludge, bludge. I guess theres not much to type about besides the trivial things in life.

After this, I must resume (no actually, start) my final assignment/essay!

Borrowed a new book and returned the two I had previously finished reading:

[x] Hattie Big Sky by Kirby Larson - It was an enjoyable book, though lacking some romance. It was centered on the theme of family and self discovery. I do hope a sequel comes out - I found the ending lacking in concluding the protagonist's romances!
[x] Evernight by Claudia Gray - It was.... alright. It reminded me of... Twilight *gags*. Perhaps a bit better than Twilight, but nonetheless... Another angsty and juvenile teen vamp romance novel...

Also borrowed another book too: The Poison Throne by Celine Kiernan, part of the Moorehawke Trilogy. From what I gather (and I have yet to start reading it), its another three-part fantasy series, and like many fantasy novels I read (ala Tamora Pierce and Isobelle Camody and to an extent Felicity Pulman) centered around a strong heroine in a patriarchal society.

On another note, I feel lifeless like usual. Like nothing has a purpose in this continuous cycle. I think too much. I've been (no, not lately, rather it has always been like this) inside the house, in solitary company, even in fine weather. Or maybe it's because I've been finding myself reading the josei manga 君はペット (Kimi wa Pet) lately and I'm suggesting my future life may parallel the heroine's (for some... strange reason or another). I dwelve on things in my mind, things that I don't really have to think about. Maybe I should shut these cynical thoughts out and pretend to be at lease a little cheerful (this word 明るい would sound better though), I mean its been like this for a while now. Lie, lie, partial truth, lie. People say they want truth, but in reality, as cliche as it sounds, most cannot handle the truth. Hmmm, perhaps I should get out more and meet more people (perhaps with similar interest as I?).

Yes...And that is today.

Enough about me - Oh fudge; I just remembered that I must print some stuff for my Visual Arts Diary. Will get onto that after I finish that damned essay.

Simple Nails #1

I've been bored out of my wits today. But really, I should be doing something productive like studying, assignment-ing or at least brushing up on my Japanese or French skills :P

But no, I do my favourite thing - procrastination!

Today, I decided to make my nails a little bit presentable - resulting in me using what little I know about nails.

I'll spare you the mundane details, but I just used the materials below (ignore the make-shift 'background' I needed some piece of paper that was going to be chucked away so I would'nt get polish on the table!):

I used Cutex polish, the colour being "French Rose" and a Konad set which my lovely friends (yes, another freebie xD) got for my birthday.

^Just something simple. White stars using the Konad nail stamp set on clear-nails. I could'nt be bothered doing something extravagant (but then again, I'm not at the skill level to do so :P)

What do I think about Konad? I think that these affordable (though a little pricey over here because it's 'imported') are easy to use to create really cute decorations on nails (and even on mobile phones and other surfaces!). But the basic set is just what it is - basic. You have to buy other 'add-ons' including other 'special' nail polishes in different colours and more stamp plates to build a collection.

(Minus the actual stamp and swipe thingo) I only have four colours of the special polish used: red, blue, pink and white and three plates. The good thing however, is that you can mix colours (most obviously white and, say red for a pastel pink for example. Now I wonder why I bought the pink lol...) to create other colours.

I think I'll be looking to buy the yellow and green polishes and more plates in the future to add to my small collection and make cuter decorations (strawberries anyone? Stars should be yellow too btw~). /sigh I think the money will add up in th end - but once again, it's not that much, its just because I'm a cheapo!

I've been eyeing pastel coloured nail polishes. I hope they become popular in Australia soon, so I won't have to buy them online! Acrylic nails seems nice too... Though I don't have the courage to try them and they look very inconvenient.

Which reminds me.... I still have a set of butterfly nail stickers my friend got for me in America. I shall have to use them soon

Some make up + bday present review

Submitted my major work for Art this morning~ I have that off my hands - now only three assignments and a pile of language work needs to be completed, then I'll be able to rest for a bit AND then start studying for the big exams! Oh, and will search for formal dress near the end of term~

I received Yves Saint Laurent "The Bow Collection" Duo Lip Colour Palette and Lancome Paris Juicy Wear Top Coat for my birthday from my nephew/s and step-sister. Thank you! I must thank them again for it as they had remembered my birthday (:

On a random note, I'm sure people who know me would be surprised or amused to read this blog lol...

While testing these products, I realised how ugly my lips are haha. I personally like the light pink part of the palette as it appears more sweet, innocent-like (and natural to an extent? the glittery-like sheen of it, I thought was also cute), so I may occasionally use it when I go out, just so I don't just let it sit, rust and waste the make up~ The darker pink/red doesn't suit me at all!

I also tested out one Rimmel eye shadow palette I received from a relative ages ago. I think it was 010: Lazy Days:

I think this particular palette is quite cute, so I might use it more often in the future~

I've been relying on presents and freebies hehe. I think I might get some sample sets from gmarket (been eyeing the Tony Moly ones that I saw over here <-- great blog site by the way).

Been looking at the make up tutorials by korean uljjang Pony recently. She's really pretty and really adept from the looks of it~ I've saved a bunch of her tutorials which I shall try out on day (though I'll need to buy some particular colours of eye shadow palettes in order to do some of them~). Her Delicate Caramel and Golden Rosy tutorials in particular, caught my eye

DNA

Yesterday, I completed my speaking examination. The relief I feel - now that I have completed all of my HSC speaking examinations is immense! However, I must finish my major work for art by the end of today. I don't have much time, so I will try to start on it after I type up this blog post.

Hmm... Just recently found out something quite interesting through a random conversation with my mum; that my grandma's father was probably half Chinese and half-something else (I theorise that it was probably English or American, rather than Russian) making one of his parents Caucasian. Though apparently this great-grandfather of mine was adopted (?) and therefore did not know his real parents.

If this were true, I would perhaps be 1/16 something else. Nothing special, but I've always thought I was chinese-chinese.

I think this conversation started because I asked her, in humour, who I had inherited my eyes from and she replied saying it was probably her side because grandma has big eyes, double eyelids and when she was younger, light coloured eyes. Then she went on to say that it was probably because she was part, european/caucasian. And then, she mentioned the fact that her aunt had red hair and light (she said red?) eyes - I told her that it seemed more like this aunt was albino lol. (Though she did say that we'll visit this aunt if we went to China). I was a little surprised as I never heard of this before.

I then went on to question her and theroised who this mystery [foreign] man (we assume it was grandma's grandpa) was. It was quite interesting really...

This incident sparked my curiosity in genealogy and my family tree. And coincidentally, today on SBS there was a program called Who do you think you are? whiched explored the family history of the [British] celebrity that was the focus of the episode (there was 2 episodes back-to-back).

I would love to trace my family history - but unfortunately I doubt I would be able to find much, since our family in China (both present and past) were not particularly wealthy and I'm not sure how much documents are actually left to be used as clues (plus my Chinese is horrendous.)

This is probably a bit philosophical; but I think it's really fascinating how we, as humans and individuals are standing here - on earth - now, at this moment. This means we've had ancestors that have lived centuries ago, thousands of years ago. And we also may have relatives that we have never even heard of and will never hear of or meet.

And this leads to the title of my post - DNA. I want to get a blood or DNA test. I don't know my blood type and I'd like to know it. I would also like to discover the hidden data that could be discovered from DNA or blood - perhaps the components my ethnicity?

Random #1

Nnnnn... Japanese Extension speaking exam tomorrow. Very unprepared so I gotta use my time wisely tonight to study =[! Gosh, I'm so scared for that exam.

And then, after the exam, I'll have to hurry back home to work on my final piece of landscape painting for art, and then the day after that I must do my english assignment gahhh!!!

In the meantime, I shall procrastinate~

Been addicted to vocaloid songs and song covers from nico nico recently~

Will try to cover this song myself kekeke. Though I can't sing at all haha =P

Anyways~ I want short hair, but at the same time I don't. If I don't get the scholarship to go to Japan, I'll go get a haircut. I love YEH's style, so something like that will be nice (though I don't know if it'll suit me):

I also needa start thinking of buying a dress for the formal as well :/

This dress that I've been eyeing on gmarket for a long time seems cute:

But I would prefer something that I can try on before I buy. Will go dress shopping in a few weeks, after everything is done (BOW, homework, assignments etc)~

I also think this dress is lovely:

Hmmm... I doubt I'll find my 'ideal' dress so I'll do with what I find when I go shopping. Need to think about shoes, jewellery, (hair and body) accessories, push up bra and make up. I'm planning to buy some cosmetics from gmarket because I really want the Tony Moly lip tint! Really really! I must practice doing hair and makeup soon too if I plan to do tha myself. I've already got a photocopied image of the ideal hairstyle~

Garrghhh!!!! I'm seriously broke. I wonder how I'll afford all that. Might have to withdraw
emergency funds from the bank =[

Okay, must stop procrastinating!!!

Wishlist #1

I'm on a roll~ Yay for tinypic.com for image hosting ♥

My gosh, I want these items~

I want those heels. I've always wanted heels like those!

I've already put a bunch of items in my shopping cart but I need to delete some because I'm going broke! I did however, put Tony Moly lip tint (see above image) in it~ I want to use to for the formal. I've also put 4W Solution BB cream in the cart - I want to buy it for mummy because she's been using her foundation since... forever! Besides, BB cream should be pretty good as it whitens skin, minimizes appearance of wrinkles and pores and has SPF ♥

Think my bro said that he'll order it at the end of the week.

Hmm... must get back to studying for Japanese extension speaking. I've done more than enough procrastinating today.

I wonder if anyone has bought Tony Moly lip tint before? I should scour some blogs for reviews. I need someone to recommend me a good bb cream too~

Latest gmarket buys

Okay, so my bro and I ordered off gmarket a few weeks ago. One shirt I really wanted got canceled in the order though, so I only ended up with one shirt and a pair of earrings. We ordered our mum a wig hehe and bro my got a bunch of clothing (:

He ended up giving me two of the shirts he ordered because the size was too small.

I'll post some things up, but I can't post photos of it all because they're in the wardrobe and I'm lazy to get them out =P Maybe next time lol. Plus my camera batteries are out (recharging now) and these are the only pics I've got saved on the computer. Maybe I'll bug my bro and tell him to post up his buys too so the guys can get a feel for men's clothing on gmarket.

Bro ordered the white one of that. He really liked it but gave it to me because it was too small.

I ordered the white one. Even though it was being sold as guy's clothing, I still bought it anyway because it was cute (and besides, the model wearing it in one of the pictures was a girl) =P

On the right, modeling the heart shirt (must lose some weight for summer!). The left image is of a shirt that I bought off gmarket 1-2 years ago from a survey on soompi.

A pair of earrings I bought, it was so cheap!

Looks exactly like it~ And shiny~

Wig from gabalnara. (http://www.gmarket.co.kr/challenge_eng/neo_goods/goods.asp?goodscode=110799569&pos_shop_cd=SH&pos_class_cd=111111111&pos_class_kind=T&keyword_order=gabalnara)

And of course, I had to try it on. I wanted to see what I looked like with short hair lol.

Bonus selca image! I don't usually take a lot of selca lol. And if I do, they're always edited and cartoonified =P

Overall, my bro and I were satisfied with the order (minus a mishap in which bro got the wrong jacket he ordered, but he decided to keep it because he actually liked it lol!). The items we got was exactly like how it was in the image and the prices were very good!

We are going to order again sometime too. Next time, I will get some makeup (even though I don't use it often) - maybe bb cream (for my mum hehe)~

New beginning

It's been ages and I didn't actually get around to typing about my exchange (or writing a physical diary). My other blogs are sort of dead as well (ameblo and my bento blog that I barely started).

I've decided to transform this blog into a random blog my my daily life, in particular, a place to vent, post my internet buyings, things that interest me (either online or in real life). I will be focusing on my buys, particularly from the wonderful G-market (:

Alright! Lets hope for a new beginning! I will try to post, even though I have my HSC coming up hehe =P

post-departure [ lesson learnt ]

Okay. I sort of looked over my situation yesterday and I realised what a retard I was being. Gosh. *shakes head in shame*

And whats worse, yesterday night I had a little scare because I thought I was choking (I in fact, was not, because if I were, I wouldn't have been able to breathe). Cuz I was pissed, I just gobbled down the fruit my mum made me (though I refused to eat it) and one piece of apple got lodged somewhere down my food pipe in my fit of rage. So whenever I swallowed my saliva I could feel a bump somewhere down my throat (near my chest) and I was panicking. Friend suggested for me to keep drinking water (didn't help as much) and mum, quite pissed off herself, told me to chew some food and try to push the piece of apple down. It eventually worked, after a strawberry and a few pieces of oranges :E

Haha. My just desserts ): I truly do feel like an idiot after that ordeal.

Lesson? Always chew thoroughly before you eat.

Oh, and; Happy New Year!
